east hampton : the right way

these are some shots of our very last minute trip to east hampton with the Walsh family. they practically demanded that we come out and enjoy ourselves for the weekend and we certainly did. a hurricane in the atlantic provided some crazy surf and little umberto was almost swept out to sea! if you're going to do the hamptons at all, this is the way to do it.

birthday celebration!

my mom and Chloe came down last week because Chloe was going to college! we decided to hold off and celebrate my mom's Birthday late and it was awesome. we went to Red Hat and then had an oreo cookie cake from Riviera Bakery. it was a little party on our back porch. the week felt like only a few days. the last day my mom and i got pedicures and laid out in the park. perfect.

yankees vs boston : 5-2 win!!!

this was my first time in the new stadium and it was awesome! yankees kicked boston's ass 5-2 in an amazing game. the few boston fans in front of us were being heckled to no end and three people were escorted out for fighting. between me and timothy we were able to consume two foot-long hot dogs, a sausage with peppers and onions, fries and chicken nuggets, and vanilla milkshake AND and bag of crackerjacks. good old american fun.

atlantic city : high contrast

this past wednesday we spent the night at Harrah's in Atlantic City. one night was enough and it was quite an experience. the whole energy of the place is very strange and the constant droning of slot machines is mesmerizing. it was amazing to me that most people there looked absolutely miserable! i sat with timothy and had a blast while he played Black Jack. we ended up winning, too:) the pictures in high contrast and high blacks portray my thoughts for the trip.
